Gladedale is a privately owned, national residential house building and property development company specialising in new build, city regeneration, historical restoration and refurbishment projects. Headquartered in Epsom, Surrey and Stirling in Scotland the company has offices throughout the UK and has become one of the fastest growing companies in the UK property market. The company was founded in 1996 by Gladedale’s Chairman Remo Dipre, who has been involved in property development and investment for more than 30 years. In June 2000 Gladedale increased its presence across central London and the South East when it acquired Furlong Homes, the award winning quality homebuilder. It subsequently formed Furlong City, a specialist in inner city regeneration projects, which included among its projects the £100 million regeneration of London’s Royal Quay at the Royal Albert Dock. In March 2005 Gladedale acquired Country & Metropolitan Plc for the sum of £72 million. Part of this acquisition was North Country Homes bringing expertise in creating affordable homes for sale in regeneration areas across England. Rebranding in February 2007 has brought all the companies together under the Gladedale name with Primo by Gladedale representing the affordable sector. This further cements Gladedale’s rating in the top ten of the UK’s leading house builders. |
